More Than a Clinic —
A Centre for Hope

WECY (CBO) was established to bridge critical gaps in Komarock, Nairobi. Our mandate reaches far beyond physiotherapy — we exist to serve as "a safe haven for every Woman, Teenage Mother, survivor of GBV, Youth, and Person with Disability."

We work across five pillars: health & rehabilitation, GBV support & psychosocial wellness, economic empowerment, education & youth development, and environmental conservation. Because healing is holistic — and dignity is non-negotiable.

Licensed Therapists

Registered with the Kenya Society of Physiotherapists (K.S.P), providing professional, ethical care.

GBV & Psychosocial Support

Trained counsellors offering confidential, trauma-informed support to survivors.

Economic Empowerment

Skills training, savings groups, and livelihood programmes to rebuild financial independence.

A Holistic Approach

We combine clinical expertise with community empowerment across six core areas.

Paediatric Rehab

Early intervention for children with CP, Spina Bifida & delayed milestones.

Children First

Play-based therapy that helps children move, grow, and thrive — regardless of family income.

Neuro Rehab

Stroke & spinal injury recovery through intensive gait training & balance exercises.

Restoring Function

Helping stroke survivors and persons with neurological conditions regain independence and dignity.

Orthopaedics

Pain management, fractures, and sports injury treatment using manual therapy & electrotherapy.

Pain-Free Living

Evidence-based treatment restoring mobility and function for adults in pain.

Psychosocial Support

Counselling, GBV response, and mental wellness programmes for survivors in crisis.

Healing Within

Trauma-informed counsellors offering confidential support to GBV survivors, teenage mothers, and youth in distress.

Economic Empowerment

Skills training, micro-savings groups, and livelihood support for financial independence.

Building Futures

Vocational training, table-banking, and business mentorship empowering women and youth to sustain themselves.

Environmental Conservation

Community tree-planting, waste management, and green livelihood initiatives.

Green Communities

Sustainable environmental programmes that protect Komarock's future while creating income for beneficiaries.

The Values That Guide Us

Eight principles enshrined in our constitution that govern every programme, every interaction, every decision.

Integrity

We act with honesty and transparency in everything we do — in our finances, our relationships, and our programmes.

Dignity

Every beneficiary is treated with the respect and worth they deserve, regardless of background or condition.

Privacy

We safeguard all personal information with strict confidentiality, especially sensitive medical and GBV records.

Cultural Diversity

We celebrate and respect the diversity of communities we serve, ensuring culturally sensitive and inclusive care.

Compassion

We lead with empathy. Our programmes are designed by people who understand hardship, for people experiencing hardship.

Accountability

We are answerable to our beneficiaries, donors, and regulators. Every shilling is tracked and reported.

Community

We believe solutions come from within the community. Residents are partners, not just recipients.

Sustainability

Our programmes are designed to outlast donor funding — building local capacity that endures.

Our Vision

"A Safe Haven for Every Woman,
Teenage Mother, GBV Survivor,
Youth & Person with Disability."

This is not just a tagline — it is the constitutional mandate of WECY (CBO), enshrined in our founding documents.
